 2 years ago, I had a very bad muscle pull. I tried all forms of therapy and strong medicines, but nothing brought me instant relief. A while down the road, when I realized no amount of medicines will help me, I took a plunge for natural home remedies. And there accidentally I met everyone's favorite aesthetic relief form, bath salts.

How to take a salt bath for sore muscles

In order to make a bath salt for soaking, simply;

  • Use 2 full cups of bath salt for a standard tub half-filled with warm water. 
  • Pour the salt into running water for dissolving it fast
  • Now put yourself in the tub and soak yourself in the tub for 10 to 20 minutes. 
  • You can also add essential oils of your choice and may add herbs for a more aromatic effect. 

How long to soak in bath salt for sore muscles

You can soak in bath salt depending on different health conditions. You can prolong your salt soak if you want to treat constipation, cure backache and release tense muscles.

Skin Irritation and Inflammation 

Bath salts are specially made to give instant relief to irritated skin. If you suffer from eczema, psoriasis, or even suffer from athlete's foot, then getting a good salty soak will do the trick for you. 

In Shower

  • Use 1 cup of bath salts, ⅓ cup of any of your favorite oils with 1 tablespoon of vitamin E oil to help last the longevity of the scrub made. 
  • Apply the scrub on partially wet skin. For the best result, you can also use it on your dry skin. 
  • Massage the scrub on your skin for 5 minutes and then rinse it off using lukewarm water.
